Suzanne Hokett, Owner/Interior Designer
Suzanne is the owner of Design Central and has been
an interior designer there since 1982. She has a
Bachelor of Science Degree in Interior Design from
Kansas State University. With over 25 years field
experience, Suzanne will assist commercial business
customers with all aspects of office furniture
purchases and interior design solutions.
Linda Orton, Interior Designer
Linda has a B.A. in Interior Design from Kansas State University. She is a certified
member of IIDA, Institute of Interior Design Association, with over 25 years of
industry experience working at Steelcase dealerships in metropolitan areas
throughout the Midwest. Linda works with clients to specify finishes for new or
remodeled spaces, helping them create the look and feel that is right for their
company. Workstation space planning is another service that is Linda's specialty,
making people's work spaces fit into a facility effectively and creating a pleasant
work environment.
Anita Phye, Sales Representative
Anita has been with Design Central for over 15 years and works with clients to
help them find the best office furniture solutions. Design Central is an authorized
Steelcase dealer and also has access to over 50 other top manufacturers of
commercial office furniture. Using these resources and working with a client's
criteria, Anita researches the products available to find the best solution for the
client's application. When it comes to excellent customer service, you won't find
anyone better than Anita.
Angela Campbell, Administrative Assistant
Every good organization needs a skilled administrative assistant and Design
Central has Angela Campbell. Starting in 1985, Angela has been responsible for
all aspects of accounting, order processing, order management, and customer
service. Angela is a Steelcase certified network coordinator ready to assist
companies throughout the United States with intermarket deliveries and
installations anywhere in Central and Western Kansas.
Tony Pollock, service manager, has been at Design Central since 1995. He is
factory trained and certified by Steelcase as a lead installer. Tony and his crew
personally handle all of the deliveries and installation of furniture for Design
Central. They are responsible for making sure each item is installed to the
customer's satisfaction. Other services they provide include chair repair, caster
replacement, wood repair, and workstation reconfiguration.

Melissa Hillyard, Interior Designer
Melissa Hillyard, has been at Design Central since 2006. Melissa has a BA in
Interior Design from Kansas State University. Melissa adds a new perspective to
the design staff at Design Central and is ready to help you create a fresh new look
for your office.
Dave Birdsong, Sales Representative
Dave is a native of Salina with 28 years of experience in the contract furniture
business and interior design. He is a graduate of Kansas State University with a
Bachelor of Interior Architecture. Whether the need is large or small Dave will
listen carefully to each customer's business objectives to provide solutions that
are specifically tailored to meet those objectives. Working with the professional
design staff at Design Central the goal is to create functional, well-planned work
environments that are aesthetically pleasing and comfortable to work in. Using his
28 years of experience and knowledge Dave will strive to meet and exceed each
customer's expectations.
