This company was planning an addition when it came to Design Central seeking information about
using workstations to create a clean professional appearance for their office. Design Central helped
their architect plan the interior of the addition to make sure that it was large enough to incorporate
space for future growth as well as comfortable workstations for current employees. Careful
consideration was given to the location of specific employees so that the traffic from the shop was
minimized and employees that worked in teams were grouped together. Variable height panels were
used to allow for communication between teams of project engineers. Design Central worked with the
customer to install the workstations in phases to allow the building remodel to progress as scheduled.

Design Central help with prelimenary planning to dertermine the amount of space needed to adequatly
serve the public. After selection of the space, Design Central created a plan that allows for staff to
effectively serve the public and provides waiting space for public during peak hours. Perforated steel
panels were used to create a durable surface under the service counters. A sit down space was also
